I've seen a few people on Facebook who call themselves "Christians" an yet I see the things their saying to people in order to try and get their "point" across. In their mind they think there defending Gods honor. God doesn't need his honor defended. He can defend himself. What he needs is for us to share his LOVE. His untainted, always faithful, never ending LOVE. I hate it when "Christians" try to argue or debate with someone about why what they believe is right. Do you REALLY think after you've just argued with them and made sure they knew how wrong they were that they'll come to know Gods love?
To anyone out there who has ever been made to feel inferior or stupid or judged by someone who called themselves a "Christian" I would like to apologize and then tell you, that does not represent the God I serve.
Some instances that really make me mad?! The church that was standing outside fallen soldiers funerals to protest that they felt war was wrong? Seriously? I get it, you have an opinion and you want it to be heard. But how about some respect. These men died so that you could have the right to voice your opinion! That's just one more thing that ignorant "Christians" did that make anyone who calls themselves Christian look ridiculous and that is NOT what Jesus would have done. There is a time for everything,and a season for every activity under the heavens: (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV)
Here is a touchy one my husband and I talk about. I'm sick of "Christians" who stand around with signs that say "BEING GAY IS A SIN" or recently I've seen someone post that on Facebook. I just want to ask them any sin they have committed then make a sign and stand outside their house and hold it up. "BEING A LIER IS A SIN" "COMMITTING ADULTERY IS A SIN" you sin EVERYDAY. Who are you to stand with a sign telling them what they're doing is a sin? Then they say well I'm just trying to tell them the truth! Do you REALLY think that after you've treated them like trash that they are going to WANT to go to your church. Do you REALLY think they'll feel comfortable in your church. or be open to receiving Gods love?
God IS Love! He casts no guilt or shame. Why don't you just show people the love of Christ and let Him work on their heart.

Dear "Christians"
Aren't you glad that God didn't stand outside YOUR door judging you? Instead He sent his son to die on a cross for you out of pure intense LOVE. In this world full of pain and hurt and people who are searching for answers don't you think it would be life changing for people to experience the same love that Christ showed you? Stop treating people the way you "think" they should be treated and start loving on people as Jesus has loved you.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE. (1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV)
GODISLOVE. Plain and simple. And if you let him he will change your life forever. He will take away all the hurt and pain and he will make your broken heart new again.
